Scope

These terms apply to the use of komplai's website (komplai.dk) and the free tools accessible without an account: redact.komplai.dk, lens.komplai.dk, townhall.komplai.dk, demo.komplai.dk, and the 'komplai Anonymisér' browser extension. Paid products (komplai docs, templates, hub) are covered by a separate master agreement and Data Processing Agreement — see the Procurement tab.

Use of the services

The services must be used for lawful purposes. It is not permitted to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the underlying systems, perform automated scraping at a scale that burdens the services, or attempt to bypass access controls. Attempts at misuse may lead to immediate blocking of the IP address.

Intellectual property

komplai owns the source code, design and trademarks of the website and the free tools. You retain full rights to any text and files you enter or upload — we make no claim to the content. In the redact tool the text is processed in memory and discarded immediately; we store neither input nor output, and we do not train models on it.

Liability and limitation of liability

The free services are provided 'as is' without any warranty. komplai is not liable for indirect losses, data loss or operating losses resulting from downtime of the free tools. For paid products, liability is governed by the master agreement and is normally capped at 12 months of subscription fees.

Changes

These terms can be amended with 30 days' notice. The most recent update date is shown at the top of the page. Previous versions can be requested at hej@komplai.dk.

These terms are governed by Danish law. Venue: Copenhagen.
